Services

At Whitby Dental Clinic, we offer a range of general services to our patients. We believe that preventative dentistry is essential in maintaining your oral hygiene. In order to provide maximum care, we suggest regular checkups. These checkups allow for early detection of any early hygiene issues that may arise, as well as providing education and best practices for your specific needs.

Our general dentistry services include:

• Cleanings, scalings and deep cleanings which remove tartar and plaque buildup. This buildup often contributes to gum disease, but regular cleanings will help maintain healthy gums.
• Fillings which are used to treat a cavity. We will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and "fill" it in order to preserve the tooth as best as possible.

In addition to these general services, we also provide the following restorative services:

• Bridges which consist of one or two crowns in order to "bridge the gap" in your mouth. Bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants. We provide the restorative service at our clinic.
• Crowns which are custom made to fit overtop the tooth as a restorative service.
• Veneers which are wafer thin, custom made shells used to cover the front portion of your tooth, usually for cosmetic reasons.
• Tooth Whitening for cosmetic reasons.
